In this 4 week workshop, participants will create 4 seasonal paintings while exploring acrylic painting! From brush usage to blending and masking techniques, these are just some of the concepts that will be included in this offering. This workshop is designed to be fun, all while learning & experiencing acrylics from a seasoned professional - plus making some of your own creative choices along the way! No experience necessary, step by step instruction will be provided. About The Instructor: Julie Harrold has a BFA in Studio Arts, is a former elementary art teacher & art director. She currently homeschools her children & teaches art classes in her spare time. She loves helping young artists grow their skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Create and Animate (Ages 7 -12) Dive into the world of code by coding your own spacke shooter games, trivia games, music bands, beautiful computer-generated art and math simulations or tell a story!!  Perfec for the young beginner, drag n drop coding is the perfect way to start learning to code all while having a good time! Using code blocks that snap together, you can go from newbie to pro without a ton of typing.   All you need is a little imagination and you can start to create anything you want including drawing your own characters!Concepts your child will learn: Problem solving skills, basic coding concepts such as variables, conditionals, loops, functions, events and communication skills.  They will also learn mathematical concepts such as x -y coordinates, negative numbers, angles, percentages, remainders and more!!Game Based Python (ages 8 - 12) Do you love playing games?  do you want to learn how to code?  Well, you are in the right place!  In our Game Based Python course, you will learn to code by playing a game and solving coding puzzles that get increasingly challenging.  As you go, you'll get to create your own game in Python using the skills and problem solving skills you have just gained!Concepts your child will learn:  Python in a visual format, problem solving skills, basic codingconcepts such as variables, conditionals, loops, functions, and events! Cooking is a life skill, and so is eating! On a mission to redefine kid food: Kids' Test Kitchen's enthusiastic Facilitators get eaters of all ages and abilities, cooking, tasting and thinking about healthy ingredients! Students engage with food in a way that is both educational and fun. Through hands-on experience, kids are taught the value of fresh, healthy ingredients and gain appreciation for the process of transforming those ingredients into a finished product. Each class closes with an opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy Kids Test Kitchen, where participation is encouraged, and the choice to taste is always one's own. Students receive a printed recipe card and focal ingredient - or a sample of the finished dish - so they can show off what they learned at home! JOIN US AGAIN! Each series of classes offers fresh, new, recipes to prepare and explore! Focus on fresh, whole seasonal ingredients developed by a team of registered dietitians.
