Early Release Days Snapology - Holiday Robotics Workshop Snapology will be here to run interesting and fun programs for your child.Wednesday, Dec 10 Holiday Robotics Workshop In this winter holiday program, we'll help get your student in the holiday spirit with exciting activities that will inspire their creative thinking, develop their communication skills, and get them thinking about this special month in ways they never have before! Students will engage in activities from our Hanukkah Workshop, How the Grinch Stole Bricks Workshop and Santa's Creator Club workshop when they take this combo program. Even if your kids are on a break from school, the learning and inventing, and planning never stops at Snapology!Wednesday, March 11 Responsive Robotics with Cubelets In this challenge-focused program, your student will begin to develop their computational thinking skills by playing with modular, robotic cubes know as Cubelets! Imagine his - every way your student snaps the magnetic cubes together creates a unique robot, but what really matters is how they figure out the perfect robot recipe to solve a challenge. They will work in small teams to figure out how to create energy-efficient lighthouses, racer bots, maze-solvers, goofy animals, and so much more! Is your student ready to play and tinker wall day with Snapology? Note:This is not a programming class, but instead one that challenges kids to work with cubes, called Cubelets, to put them together to perform a variety of fun functions!Thursday, March 12 Robot Sport Challenge In Snapology's Robot Sport Challenge program, students will build and program robots to compete in sports-themed challenges! Your child will expand their engineering skills by designing and experimenting with robotic attachments and refine their compute programming abilities y creating program codes that make their bots run races, play hockey, and so much more. Students will work in groups and use LEGO SPIKETM Prime technology to complete these exciting challenges. By giving our students challenges through games and friendly competition, they don't realize how quickly they are learning core programming skills for a future in STEM
