Amusement Park Engineering (Grades 3 - 5 ages 9 -12) Design your own amusement park in this super fun program, Learn how to use LEGO bricks and other building materials to make coasters and other awesome rides. Can you design the next Disney World? Gamebots (Grades K - 2 ages 5 - 8)In this game focused robotics program, your engineer will explore the basics of robotics while playing some really awesome games with and against their classmates! While working with a partner to complete various challenges, your student will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice, We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with creative builiding challenges and awesome games!!KinderBots (Grades K-2 ages 5-8)In this beginner robotics program, your little engineer will begin to explore the world of robotics as they build simple models that teach the fundamentals of robotic design. Whether learning about motors while building drills or catapults or exploring how to use sensors while playing with a magic wand or goal kicker, we're certain your child will have a great time while they are learning a ton about robotics and how to work effectively with a partner!Foundational Engineering (Grades K-2, ages 5-8)Does your little learner love to tinker and create new things, or are they the kind of learner who likes to break things a part to see what's inside? If so, they're going to love Snapology's Foundational Engineering:Machines and contraptions program! This program gives your student the tools they need to understand mechanical movement and the importance of simple machinesThey will see these moving parts up-close as they follow instructions to build various machines and contraptions, then use the models to develop new design ideas, tests out physics concepts abd even play games with thier partners and classmates. Whether they are the creative-constructive type or prefer the inquisitive-deconstructive way of learning, this program is sure to spark their engineering interests!

12:30 PM - 3:30 PM    Early Release Days Snapology - Holiday Robotics Workshop
Snapology will be here to run interesting and fun programs for your child.Wednesday, Dec 10 Holiday Robotics Workshop In this winter holiday program, we'll help get your student in the holiday spirit with exciting activities that will inspire their creative thinking, develop their communication skills, and get them thinking about this special month in ways they never have before!  Students will engage in activities from our Hanukkah Workshop, How the Grinch Stole Bricks Workshop and Santa's Creator Club workshop when they take this combo program.  Even if your kids are on a break from school, the learning and inventing, and planning never stops at Snapology!Wednesday, March 11 Responsive Robotics with Cubelets In this challenge-focused program, your student will begin to develop their computational thinking skills by playing with modular, robotic cubes know as Cubelets!  Imagine his - every way your student snaps the magnetic cubes together creates a unique robot, but what really matters is how they figure out the perfect robot recipe to solve a challenge.  They will work in small teams to figure out how to create energy-efficient lighthouses, racer bots, maze-solvers, goofy animals, and so much more!  Is your student ready to play and tinker wall day with Snapology?  Note:This is not a programming class, but instead one that challenges kids to work with cubes, called Cubelets, to put them together to perform a variety of fun functions!Thursday, March 12 Robot Sport Challenge In Snapology's Robot Sport Challenge program, students will build and program robots to compete in sports-themed challenges! Your child will expand their engineering skills by designing and experimenting with robotic attachments and refine their compute programming abilities y creating program codes that make their bots run races, play hockey, and so much more.  Students will work in groups and use LEGO SPIKETM Prime technology to complete these exciting challenges.  By giving our students challenges through games and friendly competition, they don't realize how quickly they are learning core programming skills for a future in STEM
